New Usage Bonus / Penalty Structure

Our ‘profile submission’ bonus no longer makes sense in a world where I have no interest in making you guys submit a profile if you are comfortable with your existing setup. This historical ‘per period’ bonus also doesn’t make sense in a world where our financials are no longer tied to ‘play periods’.

However, we still have usage issues that take my time to resolve and cause delays in weekly gameplay that bum everyone out.

Therefore, we are changing the structure of the bonus and penalty fees to be tied to usage issues:

If you do not have any usage issues in a given year, you will receive a $3M bonus. Based on historical data, the majority of teams should be expected to receive this bonus.

The penalty fee structure for usage misses (any usage issue/ineligible player active in a profile after the profile submission deadline of 8p ET on Thursday) will be as follows:

First offense: Free

Second offense: $500k

Third offense: $1M

Fourth offense: $2M and/or potential termination of ownership

Our hope is that this provides incentive for the small handful of teams with frequent usage issues to manage their team more closely on a weekly basis. If anyone needs guidance on how to easily check your teams usage, please let me know. It is VERY easy. Thanks again for your support on this!
